Steven Dias was named the captain for the Mumbai FC for the 2016-17 season. This will be his second year in Mumbai FC and the first as the captain of the side. He has been a fan favorite since signing for the Yellow Brigade and now with being named captain, will be revered and respected even more by fans.

Steven Dias was born and brought up in the city of Mumbai. He knows the city and loves it to the core. He began his professional football career with Air India back in 2001 and has gone on to play for other Mumbai based teams like Mahindra United, Mumbai Tigers and presently Mumbai FC. This shows his passion towards development of Mumbai football and being captain now further provides him incentive to lead the club to glory.
